If you didn’t know by now, Panerai’s roots go back to Italy. To Affirm the brand’s Italian DNA they have released two new dual time zone watches that are being called the Luminor BiTempo. These BiTempo pieces feature a GMT function so the user can keep track of a second time zone.
The new BiTempo watches come in two different color palettes, each with a compelling, assured presence and built on the foundation that we have grown accustom to with the Luminor pieces, the 44mm Stainless Steel case.
The first piece is the PAM01361 which features a sun burst blue dial that comes with a matching blue alligator strap. The second piece is the PAM01360 which uses a matte black dial and matching gator strap. On both dials you will notice a very bright blue accent color that is used on the GMT as well as power reserve hands. This power reserve is located at the five o’clock position and will let you know how much power your automatic P.9012 movement has left.
One thing you will notice right off the bat that is different than previous models is the Italian text that is inscribed on the dial. The first is under the “Luminor Panerai” text and reads “BiTempo” which refers to the GMT function. Second, you will see the word “ore” under the power reserve which translates to hours.

As mentioned previously the automatic movement that powers both of these pieces is the fully visible P.9012 movement which as indicated by the reserve function, has 72 Hours of power reserve. The movement is visible on the BiTempo through the clear case back sapphire.
The watches are of course water resistant to 30 bar (~300 meters) and also come with a second rubber strap for those days you would like to take a plunge in the ocean or nearby pool.
The PAM01361 & PAM01360 are available for purchase through your local boutique or online at a price of $10,000 USD.
