PAM753 AND PAM754 RADIOMIR

Panerai Introduces Two New Entry Level Radiomirs – PAM753 & PAM754

At SIHH 2018, Officine Panerai went back to it’s roots with updates and additions to their historic logo dial collection which featured in-house movements and a much lower price point. The Radiomir which was the first watch ever created by Officine Panerai is now available in two new entry level models, the PAM753 & PAM754, featuring an in-house 3 day hand wound movement and great price point as well.

With the introduction of these pieces, Panerai continues to revamp it’s most iconic and core pieces with in-house movements and phasing out anything with the old ETA movements. Featuring the iconic cushion case and slender wire loop strap attachment, the PAM753 & PAM754, are a throwback to an earlier time of Officine Panerai.  The new models are powered by the P.6000 calibre which is 15 1/2 lignes in diameter, oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, a 3 day power reserve, and a mechanism that will stop the balance wheel as soon as the winding crown is pulled out to help with accuracy when adjusting the time. Both the PAM753 & PAM754 feature 45mm polished steel cases with a solid case back and are rated for 10bar or 100M water resistance.

Panerai PAM754 Black Seal Radiomir

While most nearly all the features and look of the two Radiomirs are identical, there is only a couple of differences between them. The Panerai PAM753 has a base dial which only shows the hours and minutes on it’s black dial featuring the OP logo on the bottom. The PAM754, on the other hand, is the Black Seal model which has a small sub second dial in place of the 9 on the dial. The other minor difference is that the PAM00753 comes on a brown strap while the PAM00754 comes on a black strap with ecru stitching.

Panerai PAM753 PAM754 Back

As previously mentioned the new Radiomir Logo Dials, much like the previously released Luminor models, come at an amazing price point to enjoy the brand. With the PAM753 running only $4,000 USD and the Black Seal PAM754 costing $4,300, it really gives anyone that loves the brand a great entry point on some historically driven models. In my opinion they are a great addition to the lineup and opens the door for a lot of people that were on the fence about owning a Panerai. Both models are available for purchase at the boutiques across the world.

  1. Please follow up on if it’s the same case shape and size as the eta 210,183,380. Has the sausage dial changed to a more pre a style? That’s what we wanr to know.

    • Thanks for the questions David. In regards to the shape of the case, without another Radiomir to compare it to I will say that it feels pretty much identical in terms of shape and size. The sausage dial is definitely not like Pre-A style where it has some thickness and 3d feel to it. The painted dial on these seems a lot more flat for sure.
