With the Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge around the corner the sailing season has begun in a very touching way for the Italian based brand.
The first Regatta is scheduled for April 1st in Antigua but this past Sunday Officine Panerai partnered with their U.S. Sailing charity Sailing Heals to host the first ever lunch and sail dedicated to children in Miami.
The Italian-inspired lunch was held for a group of VIP children ranging in age from 5-15 from the Miami’s Children’s Hospital. The lunch was followed by sailing on Biscayne Bay accompanied by their parents and caregivers. The sail coincided with Miami Sailing Week under perfect conditions.
Sailing Heals was founded in 2011 and offers sailing experiences to VIP patients, guests and their caregivers. The sailing is used to bring a memorable and moral healing adventure on the water.
